The 4th annual HTRF Symposium is returning to its homeland in Provence. This unique opportunity to network with HTRF users and thought leaders in the drug discovery community will take place in Avignon, France, from September 24th to 26th, 2008.

The scientific program will provide you with new depths of insight into the application of HTRF technology. Renowned experts from academia and industry will engage you in a stimulating convergence of ideas. The practical knowledge you acquire will enable you to streamline your research and attain new levels of success.

Thanks to the valuable feedback of our Symposium alumni, the 2008 event will feature a poster session for the first time ever. Abstract submission is exclusively online. All submitted posters will be reviewed by a committee of peers.

Access to the symposium is free of charge, but the number of participants is limited to 200 attendees, so be sure to register now and secure your spot. The selection of hotels listed in this section should help you find accommodation to best fit your needs.

Looking for info on the 2007 edition or need a CD containing the presentations? Be sure to visit the “Past events” section accessible via the navigation on the left hand side of this screen.

"This was one of the
best meetings that
I've ever attended. The scientific content and opportunity for discussion were excellent."

About Avignon

Located at the confluence of the Rhône and Durance rivers, Avignon is well known for its fortified walls and its Saint-Bénezet bridge, broken in half during the Middle Ages and never rebuilt since. The Palais des Papes is certainly Avignon's most important landmark: with its imposing and majestic architecture, it was declared a "World Heritage Site" by UNESCO in 1995.

Avignon represents the essence of Provence and is the ideal base for exploring the many exciting destinations throughout this much celebrated region. It is also the capital of the Côtes du Rhône wine producing area, at the crossroad between Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Beaumes de Venise, Vacqueras and many others.

Avignon – yet another ideal place to combine fine wines and innovative science!
