HTRF® Toolbox Reagents

Cisbio offers a comprehensive line of ready-to-use HTRF toolbox reagents labeled with Europium or Lumi4®-Terbium Cryptate, and XL665 or d2 tracers for studying molecular interactions using HTRF. One of the most common means of adding flexibility, particularly when protein-specific reagents are not available, is the use of tagged biomolecules. The toolbox reagents were optimized to recognize the commonly used tags including GST, 6HIS, c-myc, FLAG®, and HA, maltose binding protein (MBP) and small organic motifs like biotin and dinitrophenyl (DNP).

The new Lumi4®-Terbium Cryptate conjugates bring an additional level of flexibility, as it can be combined either with the HTRF tracers, XL665 or d2, and other fluorophores like fluorescein or green fluorescent protein (GFP). Furthermore, Lumi4®-Terbium Cryptate reagents allow KF free assays and are fully compatible with HTRF certified readers.

Build HTRF assays for your specific application:
The reagent toolbox includes Europium and Lumi4®-Terbium Cryptates, and XL665, and d2 labeled anti-tag antibodies, streptavidins, anti-immunoglobulin antibodies, lectins and other affinity system reagents for use depending on the specific assay . A wide range of assays has been developed with these reagents including protein:protein interactions, nuclear receptor assays, receptor dimerization, ligand binding, receptor internalization and enzyme assays. As with all HTRF assays, assays developed using our toolbox reagents can easily be miniaturized and are amenable to automation.
