Tag-lite® SNAP-Lumi4® Tb
Terbium cryptate SNAP-tag substrate conjugate
Tag-lite brings new labelling technology
Tag-lite is a comprehensive selection of tools and reagents streamlined to specifically label fusion protein with synthetic HTRF dyes. Tag-lite combines HTRF with SNAP-tag technology. This solution is ideal for a wide range of applications, such as mechanistics and receptor dimerization, as well as ligand binding assays and second messenger assessment.

* Ligand binding or internalization assays performed in 384-well plate 5,000 cells/well SNAP-Lumi4Tb 100nM
- non-permeating to membrane cells, and specifically label only the GPCR expressed at the cell surface.
- small molecules (< 2 kDa) that do not affect the specific ligand binding.
- chemically inert for other proteins, reducing non-specific binding.
- Ligand binding assays
- GPCR dimer assays
How does the SNAP-tag substrate work?
SNAP- tag is a suicide enzyme, and can be easily fused to the N- terminal position of GPCR. SNAP-tag can then be specifically and covalently labelled with a SNAP-tag specific substrate, benzyl guanine and benzyl cytosine respectively. This substrate is labelled with terbium cryptate (Lumi4-Tb).
