Assay Principle:
The HTRF® Human IgG Kappa and Lambda MAb Assays are sandwich immunoassays for the measurement of whole human IgGs selectively for Kappa or Lambda. The assays use a Eu3+-Cryptate conjugated antibody specific to human kappa light chain or to human lambda light chain, and d2 coupled antibody specific to human Fc. These homogeneous assays enable precise assessment of all human IgG isotypes and require only a single 2 hour incubation following the detection reagent addition.

Cross reactivities
The experiments show no assay cross reactivity with mouse IgG or human IgM. Furthermore, no cross reactivity of the kappa and lambda assays was observed with lambda and kappa IgG respectively.
