The Tag-lite® ligand binding assay is a homogeneous alternative to radioligand binding assays for HTS and compound profiling. The assay is based on the competition between the fluorescent ligand and compound.

Please note that the data below should be considered only as an example. Results may vary from one HTRF compatible reader to another.
The Chemokine CXCR4 receptor ligand binding assay was performed using:
- cells expressing the SNAP-receptor labeled with terbium cryptate
- ligand labeled with a red-emitting HTRF fluorescent probe
Results obtained with this assay were very similar to those obtained with the radio ligand reference method.
